Re: Teetotal
Eerie- It sounds like you have some unresolved issues there!

Re: Teetotal
Yeah, I'd trade off all the weekends away and holidays with mates, festivals, endless nights out having a laugh, to have a good topic of conversation about why I don't drink on my he odd times you must go out. Sounds like a right hoot.

Re: Teetotal
Because he's a boring old mr sensible type. He just used the terms 'topic of conversation' and 'unresolved issues' Say no more.

Re: Teetotal
I only get irked at teetotalers when they make a big fucking song and dance about it. Just shut up and drink your Ribena, we don't need your life story you homo.

Re: Teetotal
No problem with tee total people. Just find it odd that you'd dismiss all alcoholic beverages after 1 night and base your reasons on taste?

How can you say you don't like the wine if you've never tried it?

It's like saying I'm going vegan because I didnt like a kebab

Re: Teetotal
You'd be surprised how many people say they wish they didn't drink, the ladies love it!

It's a good topic of conversation.

I find though that people that get annoyed about the fact I don't drink probably have a few unresolved issues.

Re: Teetotal
You mentioned it twice, that's all ;-)

I do love a good real ale myself.

Mad Dog 3:57 Tue Aug 26
Re: Teetotal
Just realised why you said that. The second whisky should have said wine. Especially red wine. With a nice rare fillet steak.

Re: Teetotal
I do enjoy a wee nip of single malt.

Not a fan of Irish or blended.

I won't touch shite like bells

Re: Teetotal
leftfeet - When you are out in a group and everyone is having a beer and your standing there looking like a real tit with your oranje juice, do you tell then you don't drink because you had a beer 28 years ago and didn't like the taste?

I can go without drink.

I don't want to. I like beer. I like whisky. I like whisky. I like cider.
I like Guinness. I love real ale.

Re: Teetotal
I couldn't go teetotal for good.

Did about 6 weeks before the marathon and was miserable.
